PARKING DURING ROAD REPAIRS

During the period Nov 4th to 6th, the much-anticipated repair of the asphalt may cause some concern for residents of the western section (from #48 and #71, all the way round to #15, and will include the two visitor lots as well as the western entranceway.

Replacing the asphalt is expected to take THREE DAYS, from Wednesday November 4th to Friday November 6th, 2026. Crews will be working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
* Residents in the affected area (units# 47 – 15 and #60-71) must move their vehicles out of their driveways before 8:00 a.m. each morning if they need to use their vehicles during the day. Residents in these units will be able to park in their driveway overnight.
* For units #72-85 and units #46-22, the paving will not affect you directly, but there are traffic considerations. There will be no access to Visitor Parking November 4-6th, and the west entrance to the complex will be closed.
* Two- way traffic will be necessary from the east end of the complex; and you will only be able to drive to approximately unit #46. There may also be construction equipment in that area.
CAN YOU HELP A NEIGHBOUR WITH PARKING?
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
-
Many of your neighbours will need to find alternate parking for the paving period during the daytime hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). If your driveway is empty – unused – available – would you consider allowing a neighbour to park there during the day?
-
If you can – please make arrangements directly with your friends and neighbours on the street. Alternately, simply let us know and we will connect the “parking space needed” folk with the “parking space available” folk. It doesn’t have to be 3 days… it might be one or two. Every little bit helps.
-
Please email Tim at: tsly@torontomu.ca by Sunday before midnight November 1st and put PARKING SPOT AVAILABLE in the subject line. We will gladly help facilitate.

Should you have any questions about the ongoing maintenance work, do not hesitate to contact Diane Zerafa at Goldview – diane@goldview.ca

A PARKING LOTTERY!
THIS MAY HELP!
We have secured a maximum of 15 parking spaces in the Church lot to the west of the SSP complex. These 15 spaces (along the fence) will be available during the day, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The church staff will need a list of approved vehicles.
We will allocate the spaces by lottery. If you wish to participate in the lottery, please send your Unit # and license plate # to Tim at: tsly@torontomu.ca by Midnight, Sunday November 1st., with PARKING LOTTERY in the subject line. Only one entry per unit please!
We will use a random number selection tool to award the fifteen spaces, and let you know via email.
Please note that the church requires the car licence plate number, and will be monitoring and ticketing vehicles that are not listed on our submission. Our condo Corporation is paying for this parking assistance.
